Realising what I surely must give up
The pursuit of human favor
From that moment, the real companions
have stood on the ground
of this narrow corridor,
turn to my direction and grab my hands
Eyes behold, mouths wide open
Needless to say, delivering my petitions
to the Lord, our God
Getting developed to speak life over unchanging trials
which seem to be a dead end
May my visions be abundantly blessed
May my big plans ahead prosper

Gotta cease the self-reliance on everything
Learning to cast every worry, burden, anything else
At the most beautiful brass feet belonging
to the One who's been before all things
I trust that no matter what, He shall sustain
Letting new ways get to unfold
I can feel miraculous ways on the horizon
His Right Hand has been lifted up,
Things work out by His favor for my good
Everything He's done, I've been made glad

As much as getting myself steady and ready
for the seasons to pass
for the guards to change,
for the winds to shift,
for the trails to tread
for the mountains to climb over
for the giants to confront
for the valleys to walk through
for the furnace to burn alight
for the deep waters to cross
We must have awaited this to happen
in the course of our lives
that all we have overcome

What you've called as untold punishment
I've called it as boundless drill
What I once thought 'surviving'
I've viewed it beyond that
'Striving', it is
And thrive, that's the goal it pushes me to
What you and I envision is different
No pressure you can't see my visions
Now I understand that not everything
needs to be revealed to everyone when
Ones are not in the place of knowing
and grasping those ideas
