Maybe they went to the supermarket together...
Maybe they are searching for me somewhere...
I tried thinking of all possible reasons for their sudden disappearance.
I called all of my mother's friends...the first thing that they asked me was where was I ? my mother searched me and asked about me to them, now I was asking about her. None of her friends knew about her whereabouts.

I called my sister's school friends, maybe they went to someone's birthday party..but they didn't knew about them either.

My legs wobbled thinking about the many possibilities, does it have something to do with the people I have met recently ?
Did someone kidnap them just like I was kidnapped ?
I started running towards The Family house, the address they gave me, to tell them about my family's disappearance, after all they promised me my family's safety.

I never saw something as magnificent as the bungalow I stood in front of... huge metallic guarding so many dark secrets. There was no guard or watchman so I knocked the gates. A weird machine opened and asked me to touch my thumb on the sensor, the gates opened as soon as I did that.

A long path made of stone laid in front of the mansion. Grey and golden was the theme I guess because each statue in the garden, each pillar and window , each wall seemed to follow the theme.
I hurriedly knocked on the main door and I was greeted by a young lady, maybe the same age as me, with red hair and tight black ninja dress ( she looked like a ninja so..) strong and sturdy. She narrowed her eyes as if I was some intruder.
" I am Sophia Rivers, I have been..."
before I finish my sentence she said " Oh the new useless recruit everyone is talking about. Come in".
Thank you for the pleasantries and absolutely remarkable welcome.

A large 'U' shaped sofa filled with men I never saw, sat with such grace. I hurriedly moved in and turned towards the redhead lady.

" Please help me, my family is missing. They are nowhere to be seen".
A man behind me , sitting on the couch said, " It's an everyday incidence, you should call the police".
The redhead lady interrupted, " She is our recruit. Her family's safety was a part of the contract".
" Oh, then relax young lady, nothing can harm you or your family when we guard you", another man with sunglasses said. Why was he wearing sunglasses indoors ?

He stood up and slowly, very slowly, stood an inch away from me and whispered in my ear, " Even though you read minds, I can read you very clearly" his smirk made me want tos slap his face hard but I had some priorities.

" Come on" he exhaled, " Don't you read novels ? there are always these two side characters , one redhead who is rude in the beginning but eventually becomes your friend and the second , like me, flirty and absolute handsome" he smirked again.
" But you should be happy because you seem to be the main character", he told me, waving his hands, as if explaining something very important.

" Will you shut up ? my family is missing and you seem to be interested in a stupid novel ? " I snapped at him, bringing my index finger in between us , almost touching his chin.

" This one's badass" a man in the back said.
