"Priya ,What is bothering you?" Prema spoke after a long silence.
"Nothing.."Priya replied.
"You can't lie to me..I can see in your eyes... You lost your spark.. "
Priya didn't reply at this ..
Prema knew that Priya blamed herself for the lost reputation of her family.She eloped with her boyfriend and they both were in live in relationship for almost one year. Suddenly things changed between them. He broke the bond and got settled with the choice of his family. Priya didn't have any option left but to stay alone. Her family cut all the connection with her.
"Try to move on Priya..Sitting alone and cutting yourself from others will not work.Don't you think you need to break this silence and speak whatever you feel."
Again her silence was the answer....
Prema took her hands and rubbed them gently.
" I am your friend..we never hide anything from each other...your silence is disturbing me". .
"You know ,I messed up all. Life is clueless. I came at the same spot from where I started." She stood up and walked to the window...Prema walked to her and said.. "Forget everything.. it was a mistake..learn and move on is wisdom "
"That is possible in dramas and books only..in reality concept of forgetting and move on is rubbish..."
"You can't say this without trying" Prema said
"I know it will not work in my case. I ditched the love of my parents only to get him in my life."
"Why don't you accept that he is gone for good".
"Can you explain how it was good ?" Priya crossed her arms and asked
I will,once you will understand simple law of life,you will agree what I'm saying..
"I have all ears.."she said annoyingly
"Look .." Prema took a pause and said
"Our life changes in every second, Nothing is permanent..You lose love. You lose friends. You lose pieces of yourself that you never imagined would ever gone.
But dear,there is always light on the other side of tunnel, You automatically head towards bright days without you even realizing it. The pieces you lose come back. "

"How?I have fewer hopes regarding this." Priya's voice seemed hollow.

"This time it may seems impossible.But you know just after the darkest moments of night,the light of dawn brings new hope of sunrise .. Exactly the same way new relation enters like new life. If you believe you will find better friends come along your side. With time you will notice that a stronger, wiser you is staring back in the mirror. "
Priya reached to mirror and looked herself and gave a sarcastic smile.
"There is one vacancy in my uncle's school..They need a caretaker for girl's hostel.It could be best opportunity for you."Prema told her
"Are you serious..do you think a person who runs away, can protect the girls and guide them? "
"Undoubtedly Yes..no one can guide them better than you because you experienced the real life.."
She didn't reply
"I guess you should apply .."She suggested
Priya looked at her and asked,
"Why didn't you leave me when my own family broke all the bond?"
"Because I share a soulful bond with you.. Priya, Trust the process, believe in yourself. Life comes with a surprise element every day..No matter how bad it gets, better days are always waiting,hoping you'll make it there to accept the smiles and joy that they're offering."
"And do you think I will get the job?"She asked.
Why to worry when I am there for you"Prema said
She asked, "When is Interview?"
"Submit your resume in the office first " Prema smiled
Priya smiled back and hugged her.
