Abscond the darkeness ( Chapter - 34 )

Julia was too stunned and froze at her place hearing his speech and couldn't believe he was the same boy she used to know , who wrote loving and caring letters to her .
Looking away from Nathan she walked towards the door of the throne hall wanting to leave but was stopped by guards , just when this was all happening a small smirk appeared on Nathan's lips not seen by poor Julia as her back faced him.
"Why are you blocking my way ?"
Julia spoke in a bit of authorative tone to the guards which didn't go unnoticed by Nathan , a small but stern and intimidating tone boomed in the room.
"Ekaant."
(Solitude)
Nathan's voice boomed in the hall and Julia stood at her place almost frozen and turned back to face Nathan sitting on the beautiful throne adorned with golds , gems and diamonds his arms resting on the armrests of the throne and she visibly frowned .
One by one everyone left and just as Julia was about to leave a rough hand gently grabbed her arm, a gentle but firm grip .
"Tumse nahi kaha humne ."
(I didn't say that to you.)
She stopped and looked at him her eyes demanding answers and Nathan smiled , their eyes getting locked with each other.
"Haath choro humara."
(leave my hand)
Julia spoke in her annoyed tone looking at him not even scared of him like everybody else , she knew that no matter what he was still the same Nathan but what exactly is happening right now? Soon a finger was placed on her lips gently .
"Shh , let me hug you first."
He spoke in a soft and soothing tone unlike the one he used for everybody else and wrapped his right arm on her bare waist pulling her closer and hugged her wrapping his other hand around her back.
Julia gulped and was surprised by his actions but didn't try to remove his hands or push him just silently letting him hug her.
"Humne waada Kiya tha ki agli baar jab milenge tab chup kar nhi milenge ."
(I had promised that the next time we would meet, we would not meet in secret.)
Julia's breath hitched hearing his words and a small smile embracing her soft and plump lips.
