I reached the nearby medical store to buy some bandage for Alexander because he was still sleeping and his wounds were bleeding profoundly ( I really don't know if he was sleeping or unconscious due to blood loss).
Somehow, in just 13 hours to be precise, that man had become my greatest problem, including the problem that many random men with guns were still searching for us. I don't know how these men were allowed to carry arms in the public by the police but that's how it is.
After buying tons of bandage and disinfectant with the money I found in Alexander's pocket, I started walking towards the bush we were hiding in.
As I neared, I realised he was no longer there. I called out for him but he didn't reply.
" Oh , found ya !" a familiar voice said.
I turned and to my surprise, he was the man who had untied me in the room and had told me to stay still in the room after hearing the gunshots. Maybe he was the boss those idiots were talking about, the boss of the men roaming with guns to find us. Oh no...
" I had told you not to leave the room princess but you didn't listen. Plus you helped our rival escape and also bought bandages for him" he said while looking at the bandages I had in my hand.
Suddenly there were two men by my side holding my hands tightly.
" You better tell us where he is or you won't see the next hour dear" he whispered in my ear like he was telling the most sweet thing ever.
Okay, I won't lie but this gave me shivers. I wasn't able to read their minds , as if they had been trained to guard their minds and put up shields.
" I...I don't know where he is" I truthfully replied because there was no point in lying.
"Ah..so your partner left you all alone in the enemy's hands and ran away. As expected from the Romanos" to this, all the surrounding guards started laughing.
" Now, what do we do with you?".
I might act brave and strong etc but the fear I felt after that was immeasurable.
