"Ah-h-h-h-h!" shouted the ghost in anger and vanished. Meanwhile, that woman and I ranaway from the house. She took me to her house and nursed all my wounds. Then I realised that it was that house in which I threw my torch-light for help.

"You are safe here" said the woman to me for calm down. But, I was still afraid. Then she gave me a glass of water to drink as I was gasping. When I was going to tell about my fearful situation which had happened with me, she stopped me.

"Don't worry, dear. I know everything. This is a haunted house. Many years ago a lady was killed in that house. Her name was Devyani Roy. The murder of the lady still became suspense. As she didn't find justice, she started haunting everyone whoever comes to dwell in that house. Therefore, the house has not touched for many years" said the woman.

"Oh! That means, she wants to take the revenge. But, why she wants to kill me?" I said.

"She is now an evil spirit. She can do anything wrong. Be careful but need not worry about it. Until your parents come, you will stay here. You will not go there" she warned me.

"Oh! Thank you, saviour. If you had not saved me, she had killed me at that spot" I said.

"It's my pleasure" said the woman and smiled.

Our conversations were going on for an hour. Meanwhile, I fall asleep. I simply forgot to ask her name.
