I stare blankly at the bright coloured wall opposite to me. I gained consciousness an hour ago and since then, these people are sitting around me.
The very first face I saw after waking up was of the irritating redhead who always has that smug face, bored of the entire universe, but she did save my life so I had to be polite. I thought it was a bad dream and shut my eyes again but then I remembered, recently my life had been much sort of a bad dream so I forced my eyes to open. Time to face the world, yo !
I asked her name to which she surprisingly replied with her name , Aria. Such sweet name for a Fury like her. I also came to know that the guy with the sunglasses was called Eren, how did I came to know that ? well I read minds.
So here we are, Aria, Eren and me with my very much confusing life, sitting and looking at each other's faces and concentrating on walls of a room to find inexisting defects.
After a long moment of silence, I ask,
" Why am I not at the hospital?"
" You just lost consciousness, why will we take you to the hospital and increase our bills for something so insignificant?" Aria replied.
" But you are sitting here since I woke up" I state the obvious.
" It's my job, to babysit you so that you don't run away to your family like you did earlier " as expected from her.
" Both of you don't talk much" I try changing the subject, anything that won't remind me that my family was missing.
" She loves been a pain and headache so I prefer silence when I am around her" Eren replied pointing towards Aria.
Good point. I like Eren.
" What had happened that day ? the day when I was kidnapped and gunshots were heard .." I ask Eren who seem to be more approachable.
" It was mafia business. The guy you saved, Alexandrio, he is the only son and heir to the Italian Mafia and his men had attacked our property."
Mafia ?!? what the actual hell ! I thought they only existed in movies and books... I should have known, who would have the guts to roam in broad daylight with guns and men to kill !
One thing is clear, I am in deep trouble.

This chapter was sort of filler, with information that will be used to build the plot ahead. I almost fell asleep writing this at 3 am 😅 sorry for the slow pace 😮💨
