FIRST WATERLESS CITY DECLARED: It's time we get serious
*Fate finally pulled the trigger ...*

*Cape Town* the capital city of *South Africa* has been declared the world's first water-less city after its government has shown its inability to supply water after *April 14, 2023*.

Bathing is prohibited there. Preparations are on to disconnect the connections of 10 lakh people.

The way petrol is bought in India by going to petrol pumps, similarly there will be water tankers in Cape Town where 25 liters of water will be available, police and army personnel have been deployed to deal with those asking for more water or looting water.

This sad journey of the world will eventually come to anyone, so use water sparingly. Stop wasting water.

*Only 2.7% of the world's water is drinkable.*

As the water level in all the nearby dams has receded, the underground water table has deepened.
*****************
This has now become serious, so spread awareness and help control water wastage by being smart citizens. Simple steps like not keeping our taps on when not necessary, not using showers will help us reduce water wastage.

This is something we've been learning about since forever now, from our school till wherever you are right now. In hindi there is this slogan:-
Jal Hai to Kal Hai.
which means if there is water there is tomorrow.
Remember, there is no plaNET B.
Let's come together and save water, our planet and our future.
