I recently broke up with my girlfriend and was now lying flat on the ground, in my room. It was afternoon and I still had pajamas on, I was absentmindedly staring at the roof while listening to "Love of my life by Queen" on repeat. I then realised that I had been out of touch with reality and lazily I got up, went to bath and took from the kitchen a bag of chips.
I switched on my phone and logged on my Instagram account. I opened the chips as I was scrolling down my feed, I saw a new post by Elliot James Reay and the song he was singing really touched me, so I checked out the comment section to see if anyone else relates to the song, obviously it was filled with compliments and there he was, a complete stranger to my eye, he had made a simple comment like most others but then something urged me to visit his profile, as I did so I was impressed by his artworks and love for nature, somethings that I also adore. so I complimented some of his posts and successfully made him an acquaintance. We started talking and that brought to light the many things we have in common. I don't know, I never thought a stranger, or anyone on that matter, would make me laugh in such a manner. I then discovered that he wrote a comic and the story line was turning out pretty well, until I made inquiries as to find out the progress of it, unfortunately it is no longer being worked on. On the other hand, it turns out that there's a book in progress, which allowed me to indicate that I, also, am a writer and should help be needed I shall gladly provide it.
