48:4.17 The higher the mortal species, the greater the stress and the greater the capacity for humor as well as the necessity for it. In the spirit world the opposite is true: The higher we ascend, the less the need for the diversions of reversion experiences. But proceeding down the scale of spirit life from Paradise to the seraphic hosts, there is an increasing need for the mission of mirth and the ministry of merriment. Those beings who most need the refreshment of periodic reversion to the intellectual status of previous experiences are the higher types of the human species, the morontians, angels, and the Material Sons, together with all similar types of personality.
Make It Fun
Spring is here, fantastic days.
The sky is blue and shadows play
On the ground before our eyes.
With hearts of hope we lift our eyes.

We wish to live these better days
Soak up the sun and all its rays.
Be the best that we know how.
Virgin fields that need be plowed.

Keep your head up, stay on task.
Slow down and think, review what’s passed.
Might need to change a daily chore.
Do it better than we did before.

The now is what we do control.
Find a path that meets our goal.
Never fearing, as Faith shows
A real true path with Heavenly goals.

Be that one who sees the light
And then decides to do what’s right.
Every tree within the forest
Grows a bit, each day goes forward.

We find ways we can exist.
We all belong within God’s mix.
Every Oak and every Maple
Every Elm and flowering Apple.

They grow together side-by-side.
With evergreens they do abide.
See them all on the hillside.
Towards the sun they all do strive.

Thank You, Father, the day’s still young.
There’re many things that must be done.
We will do the things that come
First on the list and make them fun.
