Rainy Days
People running to find a shed,
Not wanting to get drenched.
Children sitting at a corner, making boats,
Giving them a push, letting them float.
The clouds now cover the sun,
Letting the temperature cool.
Kids jumping in puddles, having fun,
One laughing aloud like a fool.
Nostalgia comes running to me,
Of how I would jump in puddles and become muddy.
Wanting to let my inner child out,
I joined the kids' crowd, without a doubt.
We played and got drenched completely,
Laughing and having fun totally.
How I wish the rain never ends,
But then they had to leave, my little friends.
We bid goodbye and went our way ahead.
