Had the privilege to make 20 quarts of chili for the local Lafayette Urban Ministry (LUM) homeless shelter tonight and serving forty five overnight guests a late evening meal before lights out.
The homeless residents live a delicate dance of street poetry every day. This simple menu poem is dedicated to them and all who are living homeless in the world.
