A War Lullaby
In the midst of a great war,
in the midst of great chaos,
amidst swords and blood,
innocent horses and wives sacrifice their lives.
What is this war for?
Making widows and orphans?
What is this war for,
shedding their blood on their so-called motherland?
Patriotism at its peak,
which means killing humans like a freak.
A soldier's inner thoughts
are never about his life when he has none.
And after the war is fought,
undesirably, it rains a lot,
expecting the aroma of the mud to rise;
it was all the work of the god of lies.
How would the world look like
if it had no wars or strikes?
Peaceful lullabies of families,
end to the lullaby of calamities.
