NEW YEAR'S EVE
The night sky bursts into flames,
with glittery colours dazzling,
outshining the stars it seems,
we have kept the night sky blazing,
Nothing else matters tonight,
just a set of fireworks, champagne,
and something tasty on your plate,
as we escort an aging year down a memory lane,
we have really come very far,
yet last year is as close as yesterday,
when sipping on memories at a bar,
party mood; dancing and wine all day,
as the last fireworks explodes,
nothing is left just half glasses of wine,
drum sticks and a couple of dreams,
from last year's still hanged on in my brain,
we have traveled far and beyond;
walked on many dust roads to get here,
yet this is just the beginning not the end,
hope we find all that we seek this year.
