Alone in the Crowd

The fear crept in,
My spirit erased with the air.
Words in my ear but seems like I am
Holdin' my breath.
In the midst of crowd I am lost,
Like a pin drop inside an ocean,
The noise enveloped me,
Swallowing what's left of my solitude,
Making me invisible In my visibility.
Drown out in my own silence,
I was left to my own device.
But it's alright,
I don't want to be noticed in the first place,
I just want to fade away in the background,
That's a piece of art needed by my soul.
