I drank a lot to escape the pain
the things I went through made me insane
my first ex girlfriend was abusive as Hell
but I'm strong enough with a story to tell.
An abusive childhood I had to survive
in me is so much purpose and drive
I drank a lot when I was feeling depressed
but I'm clean and sober and feeling blessed.
