Mask of Kindness
Nowadays, the world is too broken.
When you just want to be kind and nothing else
But people assume you become interested
They get attached while being comforted.
You just want to show them support.
Yet they think you give special treatment and all.
That's the moment when everything gets risky
People started to demand and were too clingy.
If one day, you go back to your own life
You cannot give the same attention and time
They will say you changed a lot
Without even asking what you left behind.
So, some people choose to keep their distance
Even if inside their hearts they care too much.
Because their kindness is misunderstood
for making someone look like a fool.
