In forest of heart desires, there I stood
A soul tempered by life's brutal flame
Surrounded by rosy thorns,I did all I could
To avoid flying darts of pins and needles,
Was pierced all the same
Threads been attached, stringing me on
Reeling me, like a fish on a hook
It's a battlefield,these trees are crying blood
Replaying life events,a soul of regrets opened up
All is fair in love and war,so they say
Truthfully it's life unfair ,emotional game
Been utterly zoned to the core,a price I had to pay
The heart's not so smart,got a scissors in hand to shatter heart's icy flame
Stone tower walls are back up,heart's back in place
Like a revolving door, this has happened before
Where feelings were trampled back to face
Got me screaming, nevermore!
Let's pick up the pieces, fix it patch by patch
You are insane! let's refrain!
Go back,take two steps back,retrace heart's bent path
In this wild forest of heart desires, there I knew
My divine truth, I've mended my rosy hem
Beauty from ashes,a being born renew
