Birds look intelligent
balanced on branches,
singing their songs,
chanting their conversations.
The winds blow,
the branch shakes,
they flap their wings
to regain balance.
A storm blows in
and breaks the branch,
the bird takes off without fear,
knowing the strength is in its wings.
Frustrated ones will look
to others for their strength.
The wise ones will look
within themselves, finding strength.
