Silent Words
There are those words better left unsaid,
So the saying goes to anyone that cared.
Yet even in that vein, I can still tell what you say,
It doesn't stop how much of your feelings you willingly keep away.
For your communication has gone beyond the words spoken,
With your eyes, I can still tell when you're broken.
With your smile, I can see the pain,
Even in your laughter, I know it is in vain.
I only wish for you to be well,
I know for the greater good, you've kept those words in a shell,
But you don't need to worry about how I understand you,
Through your silent words,
I can tell all that ponders in your heart too.
