A curious day
There's no space left
In your broken little dreams
No life to breathe
Within the lungs of dead things
Wonder on to new local
Leave the graves to the past
Ponder the present of each step
Try not to force moments to last
You are the thing
A mechanical being
Only rust waits
Should you stop to dream
Cry no tears
For the passing of years
Smile and greet the earth
Each day a rebirth
This is no challenge of mind to muscle
No money to make with busy hand bustle
A context sought is clear out of sight
For the day all the same
Will make way for the night
You will find in due time
The emptiness of my rhyme
A coddle simply to fondle the mire and grime
A distraction
A carrot on string to lead free
Should I falter
I beg you
Leave me
