Jehovah Only Knows
It certainly has been a privilege to meet a friend as you,
A person who's open minded to everything I do.
A person to whom is loving, in an understanding way,
For when a friend unto you says things he shouldn't say.
Forgiveness and apologies surpass our every thought,
Feelings of regret for the things to you I’ve brought.
Jehovah only knows the desires in which we hold,
Jehovah only knows as to whether or not they'll grow.
Patiently awaiting for the day to understand,
To understand Jehovah in a way to make amends.
Have you ever lovingly prayed to Jehovah for extra strength?
To endure in this old system and your faith to him maintain.
Have you ever felt so lonely that you feel you need a friend?
A friend that you can talk to especially when you sin,
I just want you to know that I cherish you as a friend,
I pray unto Jehovah that this flame will never end.
I also pray for wisdom and this insight that I lack,
For the outcome of my actions I hope won’t turn out bad.
A friend you are unto my favor, of that in which I hold,
The outcome of what will happen…….Jehovah only knows.
