I can’t marry a Poet
I can't marry a poet
He will rather give more attention to his pen than to me,
He’ll leave me under the cold of the night
While he romance words with his pen.
I can't marry a poet
Their words are just like the wind,
That comes and go.
When it's gone, I will be left in the heat of a broken heart.
I can't marry a poet
It will be Adultery,
For we are both married to our pens,
Our home will be a factory of words
And our lives a silent duet.
I can't marry a poet
For we are both warriors of the pen,
And two loins can't rule thesame kingdom.
