I never knew who I was
Never knew how I was suppose to live
Life has never actually given me the chance to thrive
But without a guide or a map to myself
I had to work with what I had on my shelf
But that is what gave me independence and power
We don't need someone who can speak louder or who can yell higher
We need ourselves if we want to go higher
It's not always about success
There can always be a bit of rain and sorrow
For the sun to pop up tomorrow
Therefore no one is able to shine without a little crime
It's always about the future but never about now

But there's always a missed chance
