#Dream
The darkness is around me,
Lulling me to a peaceful sleep.
But my mind is arousing,
The voices of painful screams.
I want to open my eyes,
But they are shut tight,
I want to escape from this fantasy,
That is more like reality.
Hands are grabbing me,
The shadows are chasing me,
I'm running with all my might,
But there is no place to hide.
The scene is changing before my eyes,
I am falling from the sky,
I know it is only a dream,
But the tingles in my spine tell me to scream.
My voice won't come out,
My breath is giving out,
I give my last bit of strength,
To finally get up from the bed.
I tell myself it's all in my head,
All is okay and it's fine to forget,
But I know there is a source for every thought,
And I don't want to see a tomorrow that's again distraught.
