Snake in the shadow!
Like a temptation,
He gave me what I crave.
Forever blissful! I thought,
But I didn't know it was a forbidden fruit for me.
The trap was laid down
With his outstretched hand like a savior
Come,
Be mine he said
But it was a lie hidden in the shadow
With light as a cover, he told me his love is freedom
Unsuspecting me was joyful
A proposal that will lead to slavery
A cuff that will lead to death
An insubstantial me thought I was wise
That I am an expert in this game called love
I later knew I am only deceiving myself
That what lurk in his inner mind was shadows
A shadow depicting death for me.
