A God of Miracles
God is still a God of miracles
His gifts and favors have never ceased.
And His love is always stable
Not subject to change or decrease.
It is God's desire that we be safe,
So He thwarts our most ill-conceived plans.
In return, He seeks only the obedience
Needed to guide the footsteps of man.
He has no need for fanfare,
No audience for His soul saving acts.
In fact, He stands alone at the gates of hell,
Hoping to grant just one second chance.
Our God still heeds prayers for miracles.
And of course, He still intervenes to heal.
How do we ask God for a miracle?
Well, the first step is always to kneel.
Then, simply Admit that you’re powerless,
Bankrupt in the Kingdom economy.
Finally, you need only Submit to His will
And Commit to His sovereignty.
Praying for miracles is not mysterious,
It’s inherent in the Christian creed.
Get on your knees, rein in your pride,
And ask God to provide what you
need.
