Acceptance Of Reality
In my dreams, I see us together again,
Forgetting that reality is nothing but pain.
I try to hold onto the dream as long as it lasts,
Not wanting to let this moment pass.
But when the dream bursts like bubbles,
I find myself ensnared in troubles.
Knowing dreams are mere illusions,
Reality's sting brings forth confusions.
Yet you wouldn't want me trapped in the past,
So I adapt, preparing to let go at last.
Reality may sting, but it's the truth I pursue,
For healing starts when I bid farewell to you.
