Our people are in the tyranny of chains, but their spirits long for a revolution.
Their dreams depend on freedom and equal opportunities.
Hope shines forever like a beacon.

For 40 years, the people have endured hardships.
Of political thuggery and corruption,
Yet they remain resilient and restless.
At dawn, they demand their freedom now.

The political darkness engulfed the country.
The nation's liberation is still to come.
The people's inner resolution will lead them to the promised land.
The way to their political and economic freedom will be unimpeded.

Every day, the teeth of the dragon wear down.
In the end, the people's shackles will be broken.
They will overcome all forms of oppression, kidnapping, and murder.
A new phoenix has been resurrected and will fly.

As the country's political bigotry continues.
The opposition of the populace grows every day.
Uganda, once known as the 'Pearl of Africa',
Is now a multitude of uncertainty, nepotism, and military dictatorship.

Despite these odds, the people have persevered.
To free their country from the grasp of shameless liars and "liberators".
The truth is loud and clear in their hearts.
The flame of freedom will endure forever.
