Just like a leaf in the autumn sky.
You floated into my life.
And just like a leaf you stayed.
You kept me company before a harsh winter.
You showed me how to have fun.
You showed me how to live for once.
But, all good things come to an end.
You are a leaf after all.
A leaf crying in agony.
A leaf that will have rotten away after fall.
A leaf that I will see next year.
Maybe even sooner, falling from a tree.
