I was looking up about scythe, since I was daydreaming a story about a grim reaper. And I found out, scythes are actually a farming tool! So what is it used for? Well, it is used for farming.

Specifically, harvesting.. And it is said during the medieval times, there was a harvesting competition! I was like, "whoa! That sounds interesting". If I never had a phobia on worms, farming would've been an option on what I wanted to be.

Who doesn't want to farm? You get your own supply of food, which growth happens under your surveillance! I might be glorifying it, but seemingly infinite supply of food seems like something awesome to me.

Okay, so, about scythe. Notice how reapers reap, the way farmers reap harvest.

We. Are. Being. Harvested. Straight to the Afterlife. Not saying Heaven or Hell, it's not my business to say which. But yo!

We are like plants. First, we are planted. Then, we are born, taken care of, until eventually we are ready to harvest. But that's just food for thought.
