Chapter 5 ♥️♥️

A few weeks have passed, Aria and Akash have grown closer. The closer she gets, the more she craves her mate. Akash set up a pack meeting at the community hall to introduce her as the pack's new Luna.

Aria: "Standing before the pack while Akash declares me as their Luna is terrifying, and I'm so nervous. What if they react as Jolie did?"

She took a deep breath and refocused.

Aria: "I've got to look at the party tonight and wear something empowering"

She got ready with a simple and classic dress"

Aria: "Simple and classic will do"

Cherise: "Aria Aksh is here. Are you ready to go?"

Aria: "All set. I'm nervous"

Charise: "You don't have to be nervous. The pack will love and accept you, and you have Akash and me at your side"

Aria: "Thanks mom. I can't tell you enough how much I love and appreciate you"

Cherise: "I hope you know how loved you truly are, baby girl"

She embraced her mom before heading downstairs to see Akash. Her heart thumped in her chest as she descended the stairs and see her mate grinning at her.

Aria: "I'm all set"

Akash: "Very well. We should head out"

Akash crossed the room to take her hand.

Akash: "We don't want to keep our pack waiting"

Cherise: "Wait. Before we leave, I want to tell you that I support you fully and love you both. Akash, I know you'll keep my baby safe, and I'm happy to call you family"

Aria: "Aww mom thank you"

Akash: "Thank you for your belssing, Cherise, and for raising such a kind and caring women"

The three of them left and headed to the community center. Everyone was gathered in the community center to hear their Alpha speak, and her nerves were high. She followed Akash on stage and stood beside him, trying her best to look confident.

Akash: "Relax Aria. I've got you, ok?"

Aria: "Yeah sure"

Akash kissed her cheek before speaking to the crowd. His voice was so powerful that he didn't need a microphone.

Akash: "I suppose you all know by now, but I want to officially introduce you to my mate and your newest Lunar, Aria"

Aria: "Hi, everyone. Thank you for joining us tonight"

The crowd applauded, and she relaxed.

Akash: "At a time when tensions are high and we're under attack, I expect every one of you to put pack first. That means accepting and respecting out Luna and, more importantly, my mate. The crowds began to whisper, and she zeroed Im on Jolie, who was glaring at her.

Patrick: "That female can't shift. How are we supposed to let her lead our pack?"

Mary: "Doesn't she have some kind of disorder? How can she be our fearless leader?"

Jolie: "Aria wasn't even born into this pack"

Her heart sank as she stood beside Akash. Some of the crowd jeered, but she wasn't sure who it was directed at.

Aria: "Akash ...... I knew this was a bad idea"

Akahs: "Stay strong. I won't let them speak to you like that"

Aria: "I can't let anyone drag me down. I must stand up as the pack's Lunar"

Akash: "Aria will faithfully take her place as your Luna and that's the end of it"

Before anyone could respond Lydia stepped forward.

Lydia: "I fully respect and support our Luna. Aria came to me at my lowest to show her respect, and she was always kind to my Brisket. You have my full support, Aria"

The crowd cheered.

Aria: "Thank you Lydia. Your family will always have my support"

Akash: "Anyone who can't show us their support can walk out that door and leave the pack. I have zero tolerance for any disrespect. And remember......."

Akash eyed the crowd with a scornful look.

Akash: "Crossing myself or Aria will result in death. I take threats seriously"

No one left, and those who spoke I'll of her casted their glare to the ground.

Akash: "To those of who accepted to support us, you have my word that you are safe and protected inside Crecent Creek. But we cannot protect you outside of outside of our town. Please remain vigilant and obey the curfews set in place"

The meeting wrapped up, and after an applause, the crowd left to go.

Akash: "I'd like to speak to you now that we are alone"

She nodded and followed Akash to the balcony. Akash pulled her into a deep and sensual kiss as the door behind her closed. Her mouth perfectly melded with his. He left her breathless as he ended the kiss.

Aria: "Akash what was that?"

Akash: "Your nervous scent is driving me crazy. I thought a kiss might ease you anxiety"

Aria: "You've managed to melt my brain. And my body. Do you think the pack was all right with our announcement?"

Akash: "They looked pleased when they left"

Aria: "You didn't have to threaten them with death. Yoh looked utterly terrifying"

Akash: "I will keep my promise. If they cross either one of us, they will meet their fate"

Aria: "I appreciate you standing up there with me today"

Akash: "I appreciate you overcoming your fear and standing by my side tonight as well"

She and Akash got lost in a long gaze.

Aria: "I can't believe he's mine. He's so beautiful"

Akash: "What are you thinking about?"

She gripped the lapel of his jacket and tugged him to her until his mouth ney hers again. Her kiss was cut short when someone cleared their throat.

Lennix: "Sorry to interrupt"

Aria: "Oh! Lennix hey?"

Akash: "What do you need brother? We're having a private moment"

Lennix: "I didn't mean to interrupt. I wanted to take a moment to apologize for how I've acted. You're both clearly happy with your bond, and I'm sorry if I crossed the line"

Akash: "Yes we are happy"

Aria: "Thank you Lennix. All is forgiven. You're my best friend, after all.

Akash: "Second best friend"

Akash smirked, and Lennix lowered his eyes, silently submitting to his Alpha.

Lennix: "Thank you for your forgiveness. Enjoy your night"

Lennix walked off, and Akash pulled her back to her kiss. She pulled away, panting as she felt her core filled with desire.

Aria: "I can't hold back my need for you anymore"

Akash: "I can satisfy that need for you right here"

Aria: "I'm not ready to go all the way on balcony, but I can always use my love to please my mate. Can we go home? I'd rather have privacy with you"

Akash: "As you wish"

Akash wrapped his arms around her waist and escorted her to his car.

Akash: "You might want to tell your mother that you won't be home tonight. There's no way in hell you're leaving my bed tonight, my queen. She made it back to Akash's place and they could hardly keep their hands off one another. His lips claimed hers as his hands groped her body.

Aria: "I don't want to wait anymore"

She jumbed up, wrapping her legs around his waist, feeling she couldn't get close enough to her mate.

Akash: "You dont want to wait for what?"

Aria: "I want you to make me yours Akash. Mark me tonight"

Akash: "Are you sure you're ready?"

Aria: "I'm ready to give all of myself to you, Akash"

Akash: "if you're ready, I promise I'll make it both pleasurable and memorable. But you must always promise to remain connected to me, you can't shut me out"

She eagerly kissed Akash, needing the taste of him on her lips again.

Akash: "Do you understand Aria?"

Aria: " Yesz I understand"

Aria: I do t know what kind of power he has over me, but I'm melting in his hands. Be can get me to do anything. Take me to your bed and have your way with me. I want to give myself entirely to you"

Akash wasted no time and marked her.

Akash: From this point forward, our bond will strengthen, and your senses will heighten"

Aria: "What kind of senses? Of course, I know what happens, but I just want to hear it from his mouth"

Akash: "Your primary senses like sightz smell, taste, and hearing, but also desire for me and the urge to have pups"

Aria: "Pups?"

Akash: "There's no denying urges for me to breed you. Sson enough, you'll go into heat, and I'll satiate your appetite"

Akash kissed her tenderly before licking the mark he left on her neck.

Akash: "I started looking into who your birth parents are"

Aria: "Did you find anything?"
