Free me : A call for help 2.
I jolt up in bed. My breathing was as loud as the voice from a dropped empty tin. My whole body was drenched in sweat and my mind was screaming 'Run'.
I desperately and nervously jumped off the bed and ran as fast as I could to free myself from the hell hole place. I paced down the stairs at lightning speed and tripped myself on the last stair.

My stomach kissed the ground but I didn't feel any pain. I stood up with a groan and continued running wearing nothing underneath but my night gown.

I pulled the door with my all but it wouldn't open. "Going somewhere?" a male voice asked.

My heartbeat raced as I turned my eyes to the voice's direction. A half-naked man walked down the stairs with a dark face. If it was in a comical world he would have a dark cloud on his head and a dark aura surrounding him. He was handsome but scary.

"Stay back," I warned, wrapping my arms around myself and trying to cover myself.

"What if I don't?" he smirked taking wider steps in my direction.

"I will--" I mumbled looking around and my eyes landed on a knife lying on top of a small table. "I will slit my wrist." I swallowed hard as I grabbed the knife and placed it on my wrist.

I noticed older and new cuts on my wrist. This won't be the first time I'm doing it anyway. I rather die than be violated by another man. He took a small step forward, his smirk wearing off. I noticed his face becoming worried as he looked at me.

"Stay back!" I shouted.

He looked at me and then sighed. "I will stay back as long as you put that knife down, darling."

"Darling?" My jaw dropped. How could someone call a person he just bought for money darling? Unless they had something wrong with their brains.

"I promise. I'm not a bad person," he said, attempting to take another step. "Try me." I hissed, squeezing the knife harder.

He lifted his hands in surrender. "I'm Jacob Ebima your husband. We have been married for three years and have two beautiful babies. Emmet who is two years old and Emmit who is three months old." he eyed my confused face and continued "You have been suffering from Alzheimer's for two years that's why you can't remember anything right now."

"Bullshit," I whispered.
