Lia stared at the smiling old women in shock.

Lia: I never thought I'd see her again!

Old women: Looks like you got your wish dearie!

Lia: Who are you?

The old women chuckled without answering her question.

Old women: Well, since it seems you've gotten your wish, I don't think you need the magic anymore.

Lia: What? What do you mean?

Old women: After today, you will no longer hear the thoughts of your boss dear!

Lia: B .... but why?

But suddenly, a strong gust of wind blowed. Lia closed her eyes, shielding them from the debris that was picked up the wind. When she opened them once more, the old women vanished.

Lia: What just happened?

She looked to the right and the left, but she was completely alone on the street.

Lia: This just keeps getting wierder and wierder!

She did her best to shrug off off the strange encounter and hurried into the office, she spotted Clover walking towards her with a very flustered expression on her face.

Lia: Good morning, Clover. Is everything alright?

Clover: Hey, Lia. Yeah everything's fine, It's just the weirdest thing that just happened. A few members of the team and I were standing in the office 🦜 ng when Mr. Kason came in. We said good morning and he said good morning too, but ... with a smile.

Lia laughed at the shocked expression on Clover's face.

Lia: Cliver is so silly. Why is that so schoking?

Clover: Are you kidding me? He never smiles at anyone! I wasn't even sure that man had teeth!

Lia: I'm happy Noah's taking my advice to smile more, but I didn't expect this to be everyone's reaction!

Lia stood there and listened quietly as Clover continued talking about how shocked everyone was to see Noah smiling.

Clover: I wonder what's caused this sudden change of heart with Mr. Kason? Oh! Do you think maybe he's met someone?

Lia: Um .... If he has, I wouldn't know about it!

Clover: How could you not know? You work closer with him than anyone. You keep his schedule! I bet he's hiding his "Business Meetings" as secret rendezvous!

Lia chukled nervously, praying that Clover would drop the subject quickly.
Lia and Clover waves goodbye as they both headed off to their offices. When she got into the office, Noah was already there looking over a contract.

Lia: God morning, Noah!

He looked up and smiled happily at her.

Noah: Good morning beautiful!

Noah stood up and came over, pulling into a gentle embrace as he kissed her cheek.

Noah: I was just looking over the contract for Bianca. Would you mind looking and making sure everything's in order?

Lia: Of course, I don't mind!

Noah handed her the contract that Bianca's company recently signed with the very popular up and coming actress.

Lia: It looks great. I'm so excited that you were able to get Bianca to partner with us on this new line! I love all her movies!

Noah: She's really doing it as a favor to me. We were friends in college. We were both part of the drama guild there!

Lia: What? Are you kidding me? You know Bianca personally?

Noah chuckled as she blushed.

Lia: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to act like a crazy fangirl!

Noah: Do not apologize, it was adorable.

Noah kissed her cheek once more.

Noah: I can introduce you to her if you'd like!

Lia: Really? I'd love to meet her!

Noah: Done!

Noah signed the contract and kept it in agile to be mailed to Bianca's agent.

Lia: I never would've guessed Noah was in a drama guild. But then again, he's great at acting cold and distant when he's really a very kind and warm person. I guess the acting experience paid off!

She began sifting through the mail and came across an invitation addressed to Noah.

Lia: Noah, did you see this invitation? It's to Bianca's award ceremony. She sent it to solidify our partnership!

Noah: Ohh Really?

Noah came over and looked at the invitation.

Lia: Are you going?

Noah: I suppose I should, especially since she specifically sent it as show of partnership!

Lia pulled out Noah's calender to add the ceremony to it.

Noah: Will you go with me ..... as my date?

Lia: You want me to go?

Noah: Of course, why wouldn't I?

Lia: Um, ok sure!

Noah smiled and walked over to the couch. He sat down and closed his eyes for a moment.

Lia: He's kind of quiet today. He seems lost in thoughts!

She walked over and sat next to him on the couch.

Lia: I wonder what he's thinking so hard about!

She scooter closer to him, allowing her arms to brush his. Within seconds, she could hear his voice in her head:

Noah: Now that Lia is my girlfriend, am I leaning on here too much? I really hope I'm not coming off as too soft. Mabey I should go back to being more distant like I was before!

Lia: It's so adorable how much he cares what everyone thinks. But I need to let him know that he can be vulnerable to me. Mh feelings for him Won't ever change!

She shifted from her seat so that Noah could learn against her chest.

Noah: What are you doing?

Lia: Shh, just let me take care of you, ok?

She reached reached up and began gently massaging his shoulders.

Lia: You're so tense, just relax for me!

Noah: You're right! I've just been so stressed lately. But this ..... you are making it much better.

She smiled and kissed his cheek as hse worked her hands up his neck and began rubbing his head.

Noah: You're going to put me to sleep, beautiful. That feels so good!

Noah leaned his head back against her chest as she continued massaging it gently.

Noah: You know, the last time when you were at my penthouse, you told me you were going to cook for me!

Lia: I did say that, didn't I?


Noah: I think it's time you make good on your promise, beautiful. How about we finish up here, and then tonight you can cook for me and stay at my place!

Lia: I like that idea!

Lia and Noah got back to work and spent the rest of the afternoon finishinh up their projects.

After work, she went grocery shopping and picked up everything she'd need to make dinner for Noah, the. headed for his place.

Lia: I think I'm going to cook him Chicken Tenders!

She finished cooking and made plates for both.

Noah: Lia, this tastes incredible! No wonder people prefer a home-cooked meal to restaurant delivery. Thank You for doing this to me!

Lia: I'm happy to do it!

Noah: Maybe I should learn how to cook so I can do this for you one day!

Lia: I can teach you! I think it would be fun for us to cook together!

Noah: I'd love that, sweetheart!

After dinner, Noah volunteered to clean up so that she could in the shower. After her shower, she opened her bag to pick out what she'll wear for bed.

Lia: Good thing groceries weren't the only shopping I did today!

She chose the hottest outfit she could find.

Lia: This is beautiful, and such a tease. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. She heard Noah's voice through the door.

Noah: Hey, beautiful. Is it okay if I come in? If you're still showering, I'd love to join you!

Lia: Darn it! just a few minutes too late. But I still want to spend some time with him!

She opened the door and Noah's yes scanned the length of hr body, desires were written all over his face.

Noah: Damn, beautiful! That lingerie is such a turn- on! My little tease!

Noah pulled her to him, kissing her hungrily as his hands cared for her body. She felt her own desire begjn pooling in her center as she grasped at his clothes and hair. Noah moved her towards the shower as he turned the water back on and began to undress her. She and Noah finished showing and changed into their night clothes. After that, she and Noah laid together in bed, cuddled close. Noah leaned down and kissed her gently on her cheek.

Noah: I want to spend the rest of forever just like this with her in my arms!

Lia: He's so sweet. I really think I'm falling in love with him all over again!

She quit her thoughts to listen his some more, but she noticed that his thoughts had grown silent. At first, she thought he was sleeping, but she felt his hand gently caring her arm.

Lia: Oh no! The old women this morning! She said that would be my last day bejng able to hear his thoughts!

She looked over at the clock.

Lia: It's midnight! The magic is really gone!
