My tales
My childhood days cannot be relived but memories are so much in the heart .My mother who so much loved classical music wanted her girls to learn .But at that age music was never one's cup of tea ,we liked to run in the open grounds to play with our friends. My mother had made a firm determination in her mind that within a week a new Harmonium (Indian musical instrument )was bought all the way from the city .At the sight of this new Harmonium our heart were full of joy as we had never played that instrument with our tiny fingers . That day mother with her strict tone didn't even gave us to touch which we so much wanted . We hardly knew that it was meant for us but within a week as we returned from school we were greeted by our music teacher .An old man of fifty ,black spectacles, clean white ironed Dhoti and Kurta .We were told to call him Babu Moshai. Now as soon as he gave us the allotted days ,all the happiness seemed to be gone from our faces but we never uttered a word .That night we made a plan to tell our woes to our mother but all we heard were the lectures of girls advancing in all fields .So that's how our classical music journey started .And the ragas Sa re ga ma pa dha ni Sa started .Our neat and tidy teacher was prompt in his time and we sisters used to yell at each other who would go to the class first .But as years passed music became our soul .We loved singing .My mother's dream came true .So you see some things we may not like as children but a decision taken by our mother drastically changed our life .
