Stand at the gate of your life; take responsibility. Beyond everything done for you, and all prayers made on your behalf, you must do things and pray for yourself.

Quit pushing your responsibilities to everyone else; awake from your slumber and take responsibility for your precious life.

The world does not owe you a duty to do the most important things on your behalf.

While community is irreversibly essential, only individuals who have taken responsibility for their lives are capable of making reasonable contributions to communities.

And there are things that will never come your way through community. For such, you must do what it takes in your individual capacity by taking responsibility for your life.

While it is unavoidably necessary that we are guided along the paths upon which our feet are set to walk in life, such guidance cannot be exclusive of all we ought to do in our personal capacity to thrive upon such path.

God guides. His guidance is unavoidably necessary for the right run in life.

God places men ahead of us to guide.

But none of the forgoing sources of guidance would substitute any role which we ought to play in person.

Just like neither God nor man will eat or walk for you, you have to take certain responsibilities.

Renew your mind.

Learn and unlearn things.

Work; earn.

Grow.

Watch and pray.

Believe.

Ask, seek, knock.

Hope.

Take responsibility for your life.
