I Met A Stranger. Part Six.
He was right in front of me but I couldn't see him.

"Hazel", Noori's worried voice took my eyes away from the wet patch on the floor to hers."you look pale"

What really happened? Did i imagine it?

My body shivered."I'm okay"

I shouldn't worry her more than she already is.

"I'm sorry, Azazel",she hugged me."We should've just gone back to the hotel...it was my stupid idea.."

Azazel. My dad used to call me Azazel. Noori used to call me by that name when we were kids too. But after he disappeared, she stopped using that name. She was kind and thoughtful even as a kid.

"I'm okay",I assured her and held her hand."it's the rain. It looks-"

Then I noticed.

What on earth was happening?

"Noori!",I gasped and pointed at the beam of rain falling upwards.

She gasped and held tightly onto me. He probably disappeared after walking in from that entry. The entry with the green steps.

We both stepped back instinctively. It was not my imagination the day started to dim. The rain wasn't stopping and there were loud thunderings. We could make a run for it but I'd probably fail miserably because of my glasses and poor eyesight.

"wha-what-",her grip tightened on my hand. I could hear her shallow breaths. The air was thinning.

What-

The rain suddenly stopped and almost instantly the beam started to thin and narrow. It was going to disappear.

I quickly grabbed whatever was in my pocket and threw it towards the rain beam.

It disappeared along with the anomaly.

Then we saw a man running towards the shed from the direction the anomaly happened.

It was Mr Weather.

"Ladies", he looked concerned. We stood frozen in our place."We need to go now"

Noori whimpered and ran into the man's arms.

"There's a storm coming", he looked at me.

A storm.

"-you don't want to be outside."
